Ectopic pregnancy is among the leading causes of maternal mortality in Uganda, recently at Bethwell imaging centre we received a mother with a rapture ectopic which was missed managed at a medical centre as pelvic inflammatory infection on performing transvaginal pelvic ultrasound we it revealed raptured ectopic pregnancy from the right ovary and it was already linking into the peritoneum quickly we had to refer the mother to Kawempe National Referral Hospital where an emergency surgery was performed and the mother’ life was saved.
